This the fourth LSII cover that I have purchased from ARE. The first three had the color matched vinyl trim along the bottom of same. I think that trim made the cover look well above the competition for a quality finish. I am disappointed that you have stopped using the trim. Now the bottom edge has a rough edge and looks unfinished. Not a good decision by quality control. Only 3 stars on the finished look.

My Z Series cap took a full 2 months to get, which was a little frustrating, but it is a beautiful product. The fit, finish & quality are all top notch. The only reason for the 4 stars is that I ordered it with Yakima tracks and it came in with ARE's standard tracks. But my dealer, Topper Town, changed them out for me without protest and at no charge. Outstanding. So, 5 stars for Topper Town and 4 for ARE. But overall I would buy this model again.

 Windows leaked from day 1

The windows leaked from day 1. The screws in the windows were over-tightened, warping the frame aluminum. It looks like crap. In the fabric of the headliner, they built it using a piece of fabric that clearly had a hot circle semi-melted into the fabric, but they installed it anyway. The outside of the cap, next to the handle was scratched, and someone put a glossy touch-up paint on the scratch to cover it, but it can easily been seen. Sloppy, sloppy work. Where is the Quality Control to stop this crap from leaving your factory?
