Handyman Club of America Award: A.R.E. submitted 3 DCU caps to members of the Handyman Club of America for testing and rating. The A.R.E. DCU rated a 10 out of 10 overall and 100% satisfaction. The magazine currently has over 1 million subscribers. Our Handyman Award was awarded in February of 2009.

General Motors - Creative Styling & Trim Award for "Best Utilization of a GM Truck Bed" - In 2007, General Motors honored A.R.E. with this award for their 2007 A.R.E. Outdoor Adventure Chevrolet Silverado outfitted with A.R.E.'s versatile MX Series truck cap. A.R.E. designed the Silverado around its MX cap to create a truck that meets the lifestyle demands of active consumers.

Frost & Sullivan - 2004 - In a consumer survey conducted by Frost and Sullivan, the A.R.E. LSII Series was chosen by tonneau cover owners to be the best in Durability, Fit, Function, and Style.

A.R.E. Products Receive Consumer's Digest "Best Buy" Award - May, 2000 - In the first brand comparison of truck caps by any consumer advocacy publication, Consumers Digest magazine compared truck caps in the May/June 2000 issue. A.R.E was the only manufacturer to win awards in both the cab high and high-rise model categories. Consumers Digest defines a "Best Buy" as "a product we've identified as a great value in the marketplace, one that merits special attention from buyers." A.R.E. is honored to join the ranks of Ford, Chevrolet, GMC, Dodge, BMW, SAAB, and Mercedes-Benz among other lesser-known companies to win a Consumers Digest Best Buy award.

Chrysler Award of Design and Aftermarket Excellence - October, 1999 - at 1999's Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Expo, Chrysler awarded A.R.E. with this distinctive award. This award is designed to honor aftermarket companies who produce products that they feel are best engineered for their vehicles. A.R.E.'s Tonneau Cover got the nod from Daimler Chrysler as being one of 1999's best aftermarket products.
